Upper East records first coronavirus case

One person tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 205.

According to the Ghana Health Service, the latest patient is from the Upper East Region with no travel history or contact with any of the confirmed cases in the country.

The GHS in its web update revealed that 55 patients have been discharged and are being observed at home, whereas two people are in critical condition.

Currently, the number of regions with reported cases is six – Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, Upper East and Upper West.

With 183 cases, Greater Accra has the highest records of the virus, the Northern has 10, Ashanti,9, Upper West, Upper East, and Eastern region have all recorded 1.
