Management of the University of Education, Winneba, has revised its measures for mid-semester and end of semester examinations.
The review comes after students revolted against the e-learning portal ‘Learning Management System’ after they claimed it was inefficient.
The school’s management said in its effort at ensuring that no student is left out and following feedback from students, mandatory quizzes that were conducted from 29th April to 7th May 2020 shall not form part of the continuous assessment.
A statement signed by the Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Andy Ofori Birikorang and made available to starrfm.com.gh said: “all mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations for all departmental courses shall be in the form of take-home papers.”
Also, all Level 400 mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations, including general
courses shall be in the form of take-home papers and all mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations on general courses for levels 100-300 shall be conducted on LMS Moodie platform using objective multiple choice-questions.
